This has been a very busy month for Avrie. She has had a lot of firsts. It all started with Avrie being able to get up on her hands and knees. She couldn't get anywhere but she sure was good at going from her tummy to her hands and knees.
Next came her first tooth on the 10th. It is still just barely poking out but you definitely can feel it (she won't let you come close to looking at it. She quickly covers it with her tongue everytime we try to look).
Then on the 13th Avrie started to sit herself up from tummy position. This was very nice since every time she got on her hands and knees she would whine because she couldn't get anywhere and we would have to sit her back up. This got very old quickly since she would just go right back down to her hands and knees.
Then on the 14th Avrie learned to pull herself to a standing potion in her crib. I had put her down for her nap after church and thought she had fallen asleep, so I went to check on her and peeked through the door and this is what I saw....

Now that she has learned to pull herself up, putting her down for naps and bed have become quite difficult because now all she wants to do is stand up in her crib. She is getting better at realizing she needs to go to sleep and that she can't stand up for every, but there are still times where no matter how tired she is she won't fall asleep!!!
On the 17th Avrie had her first taste of real table foods. We were having ravioli's and I thought it would be fun to see how she liked them. I'm going to have to say she loved them!
On the 18th Avrie started crawling. It is so cute to see her crawl around. She seems to love all the places she isn't supposed to go. When I call her name to come back she just starts to crawl faster. She also loves to follow us all around the house.
On the 29th Dustan took Avrie to get her first real hair cut. Well it was just the bangs but it was her first time having someone who really knows what they are doing cute her hair.
At the end of the month Avrie also started sleeping completely through the night, like 9-10 hours. It has been so great being able to get uninterupted nights of sleep. She loves to snuggle up to her blacket.
It has been a busy month for Avrie and she is learning a lot. She is becoming more and more fun everyday. We love her so much!
(Sorry we aren't very good with taking pics so this is really all we have our Avries 1st)
