DUSTAN GRADUATED!!!!

On May 17, 2009 Dustan became an official graduate of the University of Kansas. My parents were able to fly out and share this momentous occasion with us and it was a very busy weekend.

On Friday Dustan had the School of Business graduation, where he received his diploma and walked across the stage. During graduation a huge midwest thunderstorm rolled in and it was pouring rain like crazy when the graduation was over. We were planning on going out to eat and celebrate after, however, by the time we got to the car we were all soaked and not really in the mood to go to a restaurant looking like drowned rats.

Then on Saturday we had a graduation party with our of our friends. It was so much fun to get together with everyone and to have my parents meet all of our friends.

Just like every other dedicated KU grad, Dustan walked down the hill on Sunday. It was a beautiful day and a great way to end the graduation events. Here is Dustan in front of Summerfield Hall business school. This is where he put in all of his hours of accounting classes.

Avrie did great enduring all of the graduation excitement, however by the end she was a little tired.

We are so proud of him and all the hard work he has put in to his school. We love you Dust!
